PATENTS
Patents in Gas dehydration, Air-cooling for Gas turbine power increase have been registered over the last years. On October 22nd, 2010 SOFREGAZ obtained a new patent in Shipping of Captured Carbon Dioxide. S SOFREGAZ prepared a presentation on the following subject: "Unconventional systems for seaborne CO2 transportation systems".
SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENTS
Processes linked with regasification terminals have been improved:
> Boil off gas Recondensers.
Seven Recondensers are already in operation: Montoir de Bretagne and Fos Cavaou (France), Dahej and Hazira (Indioa), Guangdong and Shanghai (China), Sabine Pass USA.
Two of them are being constructed: Manzanillo (Mexico), Puerto El Musel (Spain) and Singapore LNG (Singapore). Download the technical sheet
> Use of air as a source of heat for LNG vaporization.
A technology developed by SOFREGAZ and implemented on the Dahej site in INDIA.
